MICROSOFT WINDOWS INSTALLATION

Installation of Interchange
To install Viewpoint Interchange for Windows, you must be running Microsoft Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT. Interchange requires approximately three megabytes of free space.

Interchange uses a standard installation program called SETUP.EXE.

Depending on your delivery method, this file is an attachment to an e-mail, the file you downloaded from Viewpoint's ftp site or Viewpoint DataShop, or a file in the root directory of a CD-ROM.

The setup program recommends installation into a directory called ICWIN. Under Windows 95, the default ICWIN directory is within your Program Files directory. You can change this directory to any location you like.

After installation, you will see the Interchange icon in the Interchange program group. There is also an "uninstall" icon that will remove Interchange from your system.
